Vagabond's Quest v.1 is released. Starting with a user base from an IRC RPG channel, it grows and changes, eventually adding betting, novice/expert rooms, a general store and more.

Vagabond's Quest v.1 exceeds the user load it is designed to handle. A dedicated server is obtained and the seeds for NetDragons are planted.

Vagabond's Quest v.1 is moved to a new network, Mud Services, after NC State begins complaining about its high bandwidth usage.

[ January 15, 1998 ]
NetDragons is born--offering commercial Web design and interactive gaming. As time shows, our design services never take-off, but our gaming area just keeps growing and growing.

Ad Club becomes our new ad revenue source.

NetDragons releases its new, totally revamped IRIS based Web site and makes the decision to leave the area of Web site design to concentrate more completely on online gaming.

Burst Media becomes our new ad revenue source.

NetDragons launches its personalized Web site powered by version 2 of IRIS. The new site acts like a portal for those of you that love online gaming.

[ February 5, 1999 ]
NetDragons moves to a more powerful server and moves over to Cybercon's network to deal with the growing demand. Traffic jumps up to 200K page request per day.

[ July 11, 1999 ]
NetDragons releases a single player add on to Vagabond's Quest called The Dungeon of Despair and runs it off a second high-powered server. Traffic basically doubles over night to more than 500K page request per day.

NetDragons releases Web Mail. The best free e-mail service on the Internet.
