I will also be launching the second Java Server for Vagabond's Quest. After that the number of people who can enter the old arena will be dropped way down. Now is your time to get used to the new Vagabond's Quest Java version, and if you find any problems, report them to vagabond@netdragons.com.
This isn't the end of the transformation, it is just the beginning. In Early September I hope to have a beta for the new Java Dungeon of Despair. This will truly be awesome. It will feature a 3d pre-rendered world along with being a fully multi-player dungeon. This means you'll be able to play the Dungeon with your friends and, if all goes well, up to 8000 live player. We are also going to be releasing a level editor for the new Dungeon so players can write their own levels.
July will also mark the end of NetDragons.com burning through cash. The new Java arena will save me about 42% on bandwidth costs and will bring revenue back in line with bandwidth costs. This doesn't mean NetDragons.com doesn't need your help. We still need your help, however the new web site design will have a number of free offers that you can try, and of course NetDragons.com gets kick backs from them.
This is the start of a very exciting time, and I'm hopeful that you'll stick around to see NetDragons.com once again shine like a beacon above the on-line gaming world.
