NetDragons.com is very please to announce that we are no
longer in finical trouble. Just six months after
we reported being in finical
problems, owner and CEO David Wexler turned the company
around. A small profit was shown in the month of July and
we have hope that the advertising market will continue to
improve. While NetDragons.com is out of the whirlpool that
has sunk so many dot coms there could still be a second
down draft in on-line advertisements. However, this does
not look likely as ad revenue has been slowing climbing
since it's low in April. The profit came because of a
40% drop in bandwidth costs with a slight
4.2% rise in revenue (sequential month basis).
Much of this month's strength was in strong sales of
MagicTicker, our
shareware product, and a good performance in ad revenue.
Affiliate revenue continues to drop as our main affiliate
network restructures itself. We continue to look for new
sources of revenue in these tough times, but unlike most
of our dot com brethren we are actually finding them.
We are still working on removing the clutter that has
formed on many of our web pages. After this process is
finished we will begin working on the remake of the
Dungeon of Despair. We hope to have an early beta of the
new Dungeon up by Mid September. If you have experience
in creating 3d Isometric graphics for a tile based game
engine and wish to help with the graphics, please contact
David.
